What Peoria homeowners and managers want to know first
Watch for the same birds returning to the same ledge or roof section day after day, feathers and twigs collecting in a gutter, or streaking down an exterior wall below a ledge. It should not. Commercial netting is specified in a color chosen to match the structure and tensioned so it reads as a flat plane rather than a sagging sheet. On residential work we lean on bird wire and panel screening, both of which are close to invisible from the street. If appearance is a priority, tell us and we will design around it.
They can and they do. Pigeon droppings are acidic enough to dull tile finish, pit metal flashing, etch solar glass and stain stucco permanently. In Peoria heat the material bakes on within days and stops responding to water. There is also a real health concern once dried droppings become airborne, which is why remediation should come before anyone starts sweeping.
